The 21st Century Piano Lesson

Priced the same as conventional lessons but for some people online lessons offer a much more convenient way of having lessons in your own home on your own piano.  This is particularly advantageous if you don't live within easily commutable distance to Plymouth.  (It saves your fuel money too)

 

The technology and video quality has improved significantly in the last few years and the standard for video calls is now fantastic.   For the lessons I use my desktop computer for the video/audio,  complete with my grand piano that is behind me for demonstrations.   I also use my iPad to annotate the music that you are working on, and if you wish I can send it back to you during or after your lesson.

An absolute minimum that you will need is a smartphone with video calling function.   I use the Zoom platform which is compatible with all operating systems and devices.    You can download 'Zoom Client For Meetings' here ...  https://zoom.us/download 

 

Most people use their Tablet or Laptop.
